Mr. Dunn was born in Iowa, October 14, 1892. He had been a resident of Klamath County since February 1905. He was adopted by John S. Shook, Dairy, and spent many years as a buckaroo in Modoc and Klamath Counties.
He had ranched in the Klamath Basin since 1935. Mr. Dunn had operated Dunn's Feed Yard since 1944 in the Pine Grove District where he made his home. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Ray A. Dunn, Klamath Falls, and Lester Dunn, Riddle, four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Jordan and Mrs. C.L. (Carolyn) VanMeter, both of Klamath Falls; Mrs. Gene (Mabel) Traylor, Riddle, and Mrs. Ivrin (LaVonne) Morrisson, Winchester; two sisters, Hilma Force, Hillsboro, and Margaret Nasland, Bellevue, Washington; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
