HOT SPRINGS – Frank Worley Massey, 89, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Massey was born April 6, 1921 in Madison County to the late James and Maggie Worley Massey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Fay Darnell Massey; son, James Frank Massey; sisters, Sindia, Sophia, Hazel and Ritie; brothers, Avery and Weaver Massey.
Surviving are his grandson, Jeffrey Massey and wife, Joy; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter and Stone Massey all of Wilson, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 at Liberty Baptist Church, Spring Creek with the Reverends Greg Warren and Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ray Trantham, David Shetley, Von Plemmons, Tommy Allison, Parker Hall, C.P. Ramsey and Bill Cooley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Phillips and Bud Worley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Madison Funeral Home.
