The city of Troy was thrown into sadness Friday morning by the news of a difficulty between J.D.Sikes and Isaac T.Parks. The quarrel began about 30 cents Parks owed for a pool game and refused to pay. He cursed Sikes & Sikes slapped him in the face. He drew a pistol and fired three times in rapid succession each shot taking effect. Mr.Parks was arrested and Mr. Sikes died Monday Morning.
