Betty A. Clegg, of the first block of Hillside St., died Sept. 28, 1993, in Asheville.

Mrs. Clegg was born in Madison County, N.C. and had resided in Virginia Beach for 50 years. She was a seamstress specializing in wedding gowns. She was the loving wife of the late James Lloyd Clegg and was a member of Richland Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Kathryn Burrell and June Clemmons, both of Asheville; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. James G. O'Quinn. The family will receive friends at 420 Ticonderoga Road, Virginia Beach. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements.
