Cumpston of Pleasanton, and step-mother to Ernie Fries and Heidi Gorman, both of Fremont. Caring grandmother of 8 grandchildren. Beloved sister to Lomas Bowen, Varus Bowen, Carmine Galotta, and Mike Galotta. Preceded in death by her brother Dolen Bowen and her mother Loretta Galotta. Born Sept. 7, 1942 in Blackwater, VA. Marlene always enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
