..Floyd Lee Dickey, last remaining member of the pioneer Dickey-Porter family to settle in Sheridan died, January 1 at the Tigard Care Center. Private military services were held Wednesday, January 5, at Ross Hollywood Chapel in Portland.
..After serving overseas in World War I with the Army, he returned to Sheridan where he was employed in a lumber yard for many years. He was named civil defense director for the City of Sheridan in 1954.
..Dickey was a member of the Veterans of World War I, VFW, American Legion and the Eagles Lodge.
..Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Stuart Welborn of Portland; two granddaughters, Mrs. Michael McClinton of Salem and Mrs. Clifford Talbot III of Portland; and two great grandchildren.

..He served overseas in World War I, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
..Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Stuart Welborn, Portland; a brother, Farrel in Canada; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
..Services were Wednesday at Roth's Hollywood mortuary, Portland.
