He was from Lee, New Hampshire, worked as a world traveler and professor emeritus of geography in the University of New Hampshire. Robert was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175 heading to a geography conference in California. He and his wife had planned trips to Argentina, India and Sweden when he returned. Robert is survived by his wife Andrea and 5 children.
