FOSTER-WILLIAMS

At the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary WILLIAMS, Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, Fred. D. FOSTER and Miss Bertha H. WILLIAMS, both well known and exceedingly popular young people of Steamboat, were married, Rev. Edwin F. Wright performing the ceremony. The wedding was a simple one, and was attended only by the immediate relatives of the bride and Miss Mildred MORSE, an intimate friend. For the present Mr. and Mrs. FOSTER will make their home with Mrs. WILLIAMS.

FOSTER SERVICES HELD HERE DECEMBER 18TH

Bertha Hazel FOSTER, a native of this community, passed away in the Routt County Memorial Hospital in Steamboat Springs on December 15, 1972. She was 77 years old at the time of her death.

Born in Steamboat Springs on July 22, 1895, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William W. WILLIAMS. She married Fred FOSTER in Steamboat on October 25, 1914. They had one son, Tom, who was killed in 1932 in an automobile accident. Bertha was a member of the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by her widower; one brother, John WILLIAMS of Steamboat; and several nieces and nephews.

Services conducted by the Rev. Richard Ogden were held at the Euzoa Bible Church at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 1972. Interment was in the Steamboat Springs cemetery.

Florence Nash, accompanied on the organ by Maxine Ohman, sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Pallbearers were Bob HUGHES, Elwood BRADLEY, Russell RAILSBACK, Alex CHURA, Bob WHITECOTTON and Bill MILES.
