Mrs. Brown was born in Camden, N.J., Aug. 1, 1878. She lived in Aldan for 45 years. She was an active member of the Trinity Protestant Episcopal Church Collingdale, where she was organist and superintendent of the Sunday School for many years. She was one of the early presidents of the Aldan Women's Club.
She is survived by seven children: Mrs. Anne Wyand of Pittsfield, Mass.; H. Blair Brown of Wildwood, Fla.; Ernest Brown of Drexel Hill; Mrs. Walter Lorentz of Secane; Mrs. Stafford Geoghagan of Savannah, Ga.; Robert Brown of Sharon Hill, Kenneth Brown of Twin Oaks, 38 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren."
