Mr. Hugunin had been a resident of Washington since 1882, coming from Minnesota to Spokane. There he was engaged in the contracting business until he moved to Oakesdale, near Spokane. He was one of the founders and a charter member of the Oakesdale Lodge F. and A. M. From Oakesdale he moved to Portland, and came to Seattle in July of this year, living here at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. W. MacHenry, 6514 Greenwood Ave.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna J. Hugunin, a daughter, Mrs. W. W. MacHenry, and a son, Guy R. Hugunin, of Pendleton, Oregon.
