Annie Eugene Allbright was born March 30, 1885 in Houston County, Texas, to Layfette L. Allbright and Harriet Eberta Saxon. She was the second of eight children born to Fate and Hattie Allbright. She married her husband of 57 years, Robert Lee Turner Sr., on January 28, 1906 in Houston County, Texas, where they remained life long resident's, raising five children.

Mrs. Annie Eugene Turner, 79, of Crockett, died in a local hospital Friday, following a short illness. Mrs. Turner was born in Houston County, March 30, 1885. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Funeral Services were held from the Callaway Memorial Chapel at 3 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were C. M. Millican, Charles Millican, Glynn Millican, Billy Millican, Donald Woodard and Wayne Maddux.
Surviviors include four daughters, Mrs. Ella Mae Millican of Crockett, Mrs. J. W. Woodard of Fort Worth, Mrs. Henry Hurtt and Mrs. Ben McGee, both of Houston; a son, R. L. Turner Jr., of Levelland; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Shrimpton and Mrs. Manville, both of Crockett, and Mrs. Lourie Nicholson of Houston; three brothers, Ed, Will, and Clyde Allbright, all of Crockett; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Callaway Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
