J. Frank Vance was married under the name Frank Wright Van Ness. We know his parents were John Bay Van Ness and Cora Minerva Wright. His story is a long one. As far as we can ascertain from census records and the birth certificates of his children, he was born in 1855 or 1856 in Philadelphia.

Gravesite Details

According to Tony and Cindy Lloyd, Arlington Cemetery has him listed as Frank Vance. I never received such information but I believe them. Elaine Moss, August 2015
