VARNA: Lillian Austin, 74, 303 Front Street, died at her home Thursday, December 4, 1986.
Born January 15, 1912, in Varna to Reinhold and Therese Lenz Kietzman, she married Maynard Austin March 25, 1933, in Varna, IL.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Charles of Gulfport, Mississippi, presently in Saudi Arabia, and Pastor John Austin of Clifton, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Arlene (Dr. Mark) Mayeau of Wheaton; six grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Kietzman of Varna; and one sister, Mrs. Harley (Eleanor) Bradle of Eureka. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Lenz Memorial Home, Lacon, IL and from noon Saturday until services at 1 p.m. at her church. The Rev. John Senter will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery (St. Paul's Cemetery ) at Varna, IL.
Memorials may be made to the church or to Varna Ambulance Service.
