Obituary:
Scott L. Neal of Chalfont and Clifford, Pa., died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 54.
He was the husband of Paula (Schwalm) Neal.
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., he was the son of Lex M. and Jane (Stiteler) Neal. He was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, Class of 1968.
He entered the U.S. Naval Reserves in October 1968.
Scott was a NASCAR enthusiast and an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and North American Hunting Club.
He was employed for 28 years at Fred Beans Automotive Group, Parts Division in Doylestown.
In addition to his wife and parents, Scott is survived by a brother, Lynn M. Neal; a step-daughter, Kimberly Ehrets and her husband, Steven; and three grandchildren, Tanya, Jacob and Brett Ehrets.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 6 p.m., Friday, July 8, at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, where the family will greet friends at 5 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Doylestown Hospital Hospice, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
