Fletcher (Staff) -- Mrs. Pearl Hand, 83, died at 11 pm [on] Thursday [23 Dec 1971] in a Lawton[, Oklahoma] hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral will be at 2:30 pm [on] Sunday [26 Dec 1971] in the Fletcher[, Oklahoma] Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dennis Meyer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in [the] Fletcher Cemetery under [the] direction of Robbins Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hand was born [on] May 27, 1888 at Mountain Home, Ark[ansas], and was married to William H. Hand on March 27, 1905 at Allen[, Oklahoma]. They moved to Gotebo[, Oklahoma] in 1920, and to Fletcher[, Oklahoma] in 1953. Mr. Hand died in 1956. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include four sons: Andrew [Hand] and Andy [Hand], both of Fletcher[, Oklahoma], William Hentry [Hand] Jr [of] Cement[, Oklahoma], and Joe [Hand] of Canoga Park, Calif[ornia]; four daughters: Mrs. Basil Spalding...[of] Lawton[, Oklahoma], Mrs. Thurmon Osmund and Mrs. Bonnie Vale, both of North Hollywood, Calif[ornia], and Miss Pauline Iland...[of Lawton, Oklahoma]; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
