McDonald, TN - James C. Miles, 76, passed away Friday evening, August 20, 2010. Mr. Miles was a retired electrician at McKee Foods. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Korean War and a member of the Bowman Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Hattie Miles.


He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley A. Miles, McDonald, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Michelle Miles, McDonald, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Coulter, Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Trevor Miles, Garrett Miles, and Meghann Bledsoe; brother, Sidney Miles and wife Lorraina, Elkton, TN; sister, Peggy Bosynak, Taylor, MI; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.


Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor John Thurber officiating.


The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN
