A Carrollton native, Mr. Robinson worked as a patrolman for Lake Carroll, then for the Smyrna Police Department, and became Chief of Police in the 1960s. He retired as a service representative for Meyercord Corp. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Smyrna and Nelms Lodge No. 323 F. & A.M. in Smyrna.
Survivors include two sons, Howard M. Robinson of Marietta and Winton L. Robinson of Smyrna; one daughter, Jean Robinson Davis of Marietta; one sister, Flora Smith of Carrollton; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
