Marion Lewis "Robbie" Robinson, 90, of Smyrna died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001. Services were held at Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna, with Dr. Steve Kimmel officiating. Burial followed in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites.

A Carrollton native, Mr. Robinson worked as a patrolman for Lake Carroll, then for the Smyrna Police Department, and became Chief of Police in the 1960s. He retired as a service representative for Meyercord Corp. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Smyrna and Nelms Lodge No. 323 F. & A.M. in Smyrna.

Survivors include two sons, Howard M. Robinson of Marietta and Winton L. Robinson of Smyrna; one daughter, Jean Robinson Davis of Marietta; one sister, Flora Smith of Carrollton; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
