Mrs. Carnes died January 18, 2005 at her home. Born in Pageland, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Moore Price. She was retired as a spinner for Chesterfield Yarn Mills.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn (Byron) Taylor of Pageland; and sisters Letha Ford and Fannie Hathaway, both of Pageland.
