Born December 19, 1935 in Hamilton, Alabama, Bill had been a resident of Bacliff for 3 years, previously of Birmingham, AL. He was a self-employed contract painter and had served faithfully in the U. S. Army.
Preceded in death by his son, Buddy.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Forest Park East Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Memorial services will also be held March 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Tarrant Church of God of Prophecy, 1200 Jackson Blvd, Tarrant, AL, 35217.
