Death Claim Fairland Man
N.E. Williams, 80, Dies At Masonic Home

N.E. Williams, 80, former Fairland resident, died Wednesday at the Masonic Home in Franklin.

He is survived by five children, Meredith, of Martinsville, French Williams of Fairland, Mrs. Scott Fox of New Bethel, Mrs. Edith Bell of New York City, Mrs. Milton Parkhurst of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, two sisters, Mrs. Eva Weaver and Mrs. Fred Miller, both of Indianapolis, and Oscar of Pendleton. (NOTE: a different obituary also names a brother "Dan of Indianapolis" -- his other brother was actually an invalid named Ethel).

Mr. Williams is a former trustee of Brandywine township, serving from 1905 to 1909. He was a member of the Sugar Creek Masonic Lodge, having served as Past Master.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night but will be announced by C.F. Fix & Son.

Williams Funeral
To Be Conducted Saturday

Funeral services for N.E. Williams, who died Wednesday at the Masonic Home in Franklin will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Fairland Baptist Church of which he was a member.

The Masonic Lodge will participate in the burial services at the Fairland Cemetery. Friends may call at the C. F. Fix & Sons mortuary at any time.

Mr. Williams' wife, the former Harriett Smith Rush, to whom he was married in 1888, died in 1930. A son, Carl, also preceded him in death.
