Annie Myrtle Carter Morris, the daughter of Lewis Riley Carter and Hariet Sapp, was born on June 16, 1891. She was the wife of G. W. Morris, the son of John T. Morris and Laura Day, was born on March 17, 1887. G. W. Morris died on October 27, 1963. He was buried in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery located on the Short Creek - Caneyville Road near Post, Grayson County, Kentucky. Myrtle Cartere Morris joined him there after her death on July 22, 1976. They share the same stone.
