Mrs. Margaret Mae Nelson, 89, for many years a well known resident of Trinidad, died early Wednesday morning at her home in San Gabriel, Calif.

Mrs. Nelson, who moved to California eight years ago, had been in declining health for some time. She was born Nov, 28 1872 at Paris MO, moving to Colorado a short time later and resided in Trinidad many years. She was and active member of Trinity Episcopal church in Trinidad during her residence in this city.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anna Peet, of San Gabriel, and three sons, Earl of Pueblo, George of Pasadena, Calif., and Mason of Denver. Eleven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive. A Nephew is A.G. (Abe) Mason of Trinidad.

The body will be forwarded to Trinidad for graveside services to be announced later by the Mullare Funeral Home.
