Jess was a very handy man and enjoyed fixing lawn mowers. He also enjoyed riding his little scooter around town and
particularly to Kmart. he will be remembered as a man who never met a stranger!
Jess is survived by his sons, David D. Washum of Tehachapi,california and Billy J. Washum of Lancaster,Daughters, Stella L. Yocum of Porterville,And Caroline A. Melton of Tehachapi. He was preceded in death by his wife Delfie in 1987 and by his son Eugene Coleman Washum in 1990.
