He was a graduate from Sterling High School in Greenville, SC. He was an honorable veteran of the U. S. Navy serving for 26 years.
He is survived by one daughter, Annette Jackson; two brothers, Harry A. Crews and Michael S. Crews; one sister, Patricia A. Taylor; 2 grand-children, Dawn Marion and Sherrod L. Jackson and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services Wed. 7-7-10 at 12 noon at St. James Bapt. Ch., Gulfport with visitation 11-12. Burial Biloxi National Cemetery.
