Phyllis Ann Hinchcliffe, 49, of Owensboro, Kentucky, died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born on November 10, 1960, in Paducah, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and had previously worked for Local 181 Operating Engineers. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cross stitching and spending time with her daughter and family.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Hinchcliffe; a daughter, Savanna Jo Hinchcliffe at home; her parents, Larry Joe and Pat (Tanner) Johnston of Barlow, Ky.; a brother, Greg Johnston of Barlow, Ky.; a nephew, Eric Johnston; her paternal grandmother, Lillie Bailey of Barlow, Ky.; and her mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Polly Warren McCubbins and Larry McCubbins of Owensboro.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Barlow Cemetery in Barlow, Ky.
