WATERBURY — Mr. Richard D. "Rick" Temporale, 20, of Arbor Street, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. He was the son of Richard and the late Diane (Malcolm) Temporale.
Mr. Temporale was born on Sept. 3, 1989, in Waterbury. He was the shop manager for Barlow Brothers Climate Control for several years. Rick had a tough exterior but a gentle heart. He was a very caring yet feisty young man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his daughter, Brooke, who was the true joy of his life. He loved to travel and take family vacations. He also enjoyed sports.
Besides his father, Richard is survived by his daughter, Brooke Currie of Waterbury; sister, Laura Temporale of Waterbury; his paternal grandmother, Marguerite Temporale of Waterbury and Milford; his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Malcolm of Waterbury; and maternal grandfather, Dale Malcolm of Cape Cod, Mass.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends. Besides his mother, Diane, he is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Domenic Temporale.
A funeral will be held 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, from the Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., to St. Francis Xavier Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m.
