Williamine Isabel Woolworth, 97, of Ridgeway, formerly of Cresco and Charles City, died Wednesday, July 21, at Cresco Care Center following a short illness.
She was born January 2, 1913 in Ortonville, Minnesota, daughter of Eugene and Edna Ransom Cenfield. She married Chauncey Woolworth on September 2, 1944. He died in 1974.
After graduation from local schools, she attended Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, Minnesota. She graduated from Northwestern Bible/Missionary Training School in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1941 with Christian Education/Child Evangelism training. She worked at Baptist Children's Home in Minneapoils. She worked in Riceville for many years and retired from nurses aide work at the local hospital/nursing home.
Survived by one daughter, Alice (Dean) Abbott of Ridgeway; one stepson, Robert (AnnaMae) Woolworth of Charles City; one daughter-in-law, Barb Woolworth of Cresco; one son-in-law, Walter Fluhrer of Charles City; seven grandchildren; one brother, George Cenfield of El Mirage, Arizona; two nephews; and six nieces.
Preceded in death by one son, Eugene; and one stepdaughter, Coleen Fluhrer.
Services 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Saratoga Presbyterian Church, Saratoga, with burial in Osage Cemetery, Osage. Public visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Lindstrom Funeral Home, Cresco, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
