Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe. Burial will be in White Oak Springs Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Star.
A native of Stokes County, he was a retired farmer and a World War II veteran.
Surviving are sons, Bobby Mabe of Jackson Springs, Aldean Mabe of Mount Gilead; daughters, Mrs. Treva Williams of Eagle Springs, Mrs. Jean Lucas of Pinehurst; sisters, Mrs. Lela Richardson of Jackson Springs, Mrs. Elsie Mabe of Ellerbe; 11 grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 tonight.
