Kelly Ann Keegan Oxford Kelly Ann Keegan, 39, formerly of Emmett died unexpectedly Monday, July 26, 2010 in her home. She was born November 27, 1970 in Port Huron to Gerald and Judy (Mead) Keegan. Kelly graduated with honors from Yale High School in 1989 where she lettered in track, cross-country and music. She continued her education at Central Michigan University earning a degree in Psychology. In 2000, she received her Associates degree in Nursing from St. Clair County Community College. Kelly worked as a critical care nurse at Port Huron Hospital for seven years and at Henry Ford Hospital of Bloomfield in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. She was an extremely knowledgeable, loving and caring nurse. Kelly spent her life surrounded by her many friends. She enjoyed helping others and loved playing the piano and singing with her own Christian Rock Band. She is survived by her mother and father, Gerald and Judy Keegan; brother, Brian Keegan; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Kenneth and Wanda Mead and Joseph and Madeline Keegan. Her family honors the memory of Kelly and invites you to attend visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Kelly will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Father Richard Lewnau will officiate. The Rite of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Emmett.
