DEATH SHADOWS HAPPY MEMORIES OF FIFTY YEARS OF WEDDED LIFE
Happy memories of the celebration, on March 25th, last, of a golden wedding anniversary, were shadowed today, when Mrs. August Vergin of Kouts, passed away at the home. Death came at 5:30 o'clock this morning, the result of a complication of ailments.
Miss Alvina Werner, daughter of John P. and Rose Schmitt Werner, was born in LaPorte County, August 24, 1860.
