Eleanor L. Roberts Meriwether, 73, died Wednesday at Rolling Hills Health Care Center in New Albany. She was a native of English, a retired employee of the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and a member of Marengo Wesleyan Church. Survivors: sons Richard and Randall Meriwether; daughters Regena Longest, Rivon Spurling and Lee Frankford; a brother, Bob Roberts; sisters Helen Farber and Mickey Kaiser; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday, her church. Burial: Goodman Ridge Cemetery. Visitation: Swarens, Ramsey, 2-9 p.m. Friday, and at the church after 10 a.m. Saturday.
