Funeral services for Ruth Marie Meadows, age 80, of Cookeville will be conducted on Thursday January 9, 2014 from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Bro. Johnny Fox will be officiating at the service and family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. The burial will follow at the John Young Cemetery in Jackson County.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and Thursday from 7:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home.
Ruth Marie Meadows was born on October 22, 1933 in Jackson County, TN to the late Daniel and Cindy Irene Richmond Webster. She passed away on Saturday January 4, 2014 at the NHC Nursing Home in Cookeville, TN. She is survived by; 4 Sons and daughter in-laws: William Lee and his wife Carla Meadows of Smithville, Gerald and his wife Gail Meadows of Jackson County, Robert and his wife Sharon Meadows of Jackson County and Larry and his wife Patricia Meadows of Jackson County. 2 Daughters: Mary Cunningham of Van Buren County and Linda Meadows of Cookeville 2 Sisters: Margie Durham of Cookeville 15 grandchildren 11 Great grandchildren
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; Husband: William Luke Meadows Grandson: Casey Lee Meadows Brother: Harold Richmond 2 Sisters: Nettie Birdwell and Ruby Haney
