GROVETON - Services for Doris Ainsworth, 60, of Woodlake were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005, in the Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Ainsworth died Tuesday, July 5, in Woodlake. Born July 21, 1938, in MS, she was a housewife and member of the First Baptist Church of Groveton. Survivors include her husband, R. E. Ainsworth of Woodlake, two daughters and their spouses, Patty and Robert Mercado of Pasadena and Carolyn and Doug Kitterhouse of Groveton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Doug Hilburn and Jane an d Connie Hilburn, all of Pasadena; two brothers; Junior Crosby of Cannon City, Colo. and Jimmy Crosby of Painsville, GA.; four sisters, Myrtis Moony of Mobile, Ala. Jewel Faye Harvey of Semary, Miss., Willa Dean McMahon of Hattsburg, Miss. and Ella Ruth Brooks of Semary, Miss., eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers included Junior Legg, Doug Rittenhouse, Eric riojas, Robert Mercado, Harold Helton and Lonnel Helton. The family has requested that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Groveton or to a charity of the donor's choice. Groveton Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
