Mrs. Maude Evelyn Kraemer, age 97, of Marionville, formerly of Monett, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the Ozark Methodist Manor in Marionville. She was born on July 12, 1912 in Princeton, Texas, the daughter of the late Elbert and Sarah (Skipper) Foy.
She was united in marriage to LaVerne Elvis Kraemer on May 15, 1937 in Marysville, Kan., and he preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2001.
Maude was a retired LPN for a doctor's office in Denver, Colorado and a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
She is survived by two daughters: Sara June Britton, of Denver, Colorado; and Sandra Jean McKee of Blairsville, Georgia; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Brenda Garner officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13.
