Larry Wayne Linsenbardt, 58, of Mont Belvieu was born November 3, 1946 in Raleigh, NC and passed Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in Texas City. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, friend, and employee. Larry was known by all for his infectious smile and witty sense of humor. He grew up in Longview, Texas and graduated from Lamar University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He has been an employee of General Electric Company for the past 31 years. Larry was a faithful and devoted member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for the past 25 years. He was a true and genuine person who dedicated his life to his family and the Lord. He loved gardening, music, and spending time with his family, especially his new granddaughter.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Becky Verde Linsenbardt of Mont Belvieu; daughters, Robyn Soileau and her husband Matthew of Oakdale, LA and Gretchen Bruner and her husband Wes of Mont Belvieu; his one and only granddaughter, Camille Anne Soileau; parents, Albin and Jackie Linsenbardt of Lohman, MO; brothers, Abbie Linsenbardt and wife Paula of Longview, Stanley Linsenbardt and wife Judy of Jefferson City, MO; sister, Barbara Carrel and husband Henry of Kansas City, KS; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John Verde and wife Diane of Fort Worth; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 - 7:00 on March 27, 2005 at Navarre Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Bonnie Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be made in his memory to the St. Paul's Lutheran Choir fund at 712 Schilling Avenue, Baytown, TX, 77520.

Larry was one of 15 people killed in the explosion at the BP Amoco refinery in Texas City, Texas on March 23, 2005.
