KIMBERLY ANN SMITH 43 of Dayton, Texas passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2005 in Texas City, Texas. She was a member of the Sagemont Baptist Church in Houston, A member of the Texas Thoroughbred Association and was an Office Manager for BP Petro Chemical Corporation in Texas City.

She is survived by her Mother: Barbara J. Smith of Dayton; Uncle: Louis Strey and his wife Billie of Longview; Aunts: Penny Saunders and her husband Bobby of Anna, TX. and Jeannie Strey of Blue Ridge, TX.; and numerous cousins, friends and other relatives. She will be sorely missed by her Four Legged Friends: Sam, U.K., Lena, Sallie, Nina, Jake, Ike, Zeb, Luci, Mama, Rowdy and Levi.

Visitation for Kim will be held, on Friday, April 1, 2005 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 1 :00 P. M. at the First Baptist Church in Dayton with the Rev. Randy Piatt officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

Kim was one of 15 people killed in the BP Amoco refinery explosion in Texas City, Texas on March 23, 2005.
