Dr. Caleb W. Presnall was the son of Caleb Calvin Presnall and Mary Jane Singleton Presnall. He was the husband of May James Presnall.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War I as a medical doctor.

PRESNALL – Largely attended was the funeral of Dr. Caleb W. Presnall which took place yesterday afternoon at 2:30 from the Campbell-Lewis chapel, with Gus Ramage, minister of the Christian church, officiating.

Military honors were given the deceased by comrades of the World war, a large number of American Legion members being escort in the cortege in the cemetery where a volley was fired by a firing squad and taps sounded when the body was lowered into the grave.

Anthems were sung by Mrs. J. H. Barnes and members of the Rotary club of which deceased was a member, attended the funeral in a body. Pallbearers were Carl Frymire, Tom East, A.W. McHendrie, J. H. Barnes, A. L. Branson and J. C. Caldwell.

J. S. Presnall of Will's Point, Texas, and Mrs. Anna Wood of Vernon, Texas, brother and sister of Dr. Presnall, were here for the funeral.
