Landon had light red hair and was very good looking. He was a carpenter by trade and also a blacksmith. He was 49 years old when he died in 1932 of tuberculosis. Their children were: Carl E., Alice, Elmer, Clyde, Paul, Opal, Sarah "Sally," and Curt W. Skaggs.
