A former Ring woman, Mrs. Annie Youree, 81, died January 31 in California.
Mrs. Youree, who came to the Ring community in 1904 and remained until 1935, will be remembered by many as Mrs. Annie Evans. The sister of the late J. L. O'Hair, she reared her family there.
Upon leaving this county, she and Mr. Youree lived in Colorado, Washington and Oregon before going to California about 10 years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Youree are two sons and a daughter: Clayton Evans of Austin; Norman Evans of Ceres, CA; and Mrs. Jessie Davis of Gatlinburg, TN; and three step-children: Mrs. Alpha Wadley and Tommy Youree of Denver, and Ralph Youree of Long Beach, CA.
