Emily Jo Bishop West, of Weaverville, died Saturday, October 9, 2010.

Surviving are her son, Gary C. West and wife, Vicki, of Weaverville; daughters, Glenda Huneycutt of Albemarle and Patricia Crawford of Hickory. Also surviving are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chris Huneycutt of Albemarle and his children, Parker and Kinley; Angela Huneycutt Burleson and husband, Dale, also of Albemarle and their children, Laton and Leah and Emily Crawford Elrod and husband, Jacob, of Winston Salem and their children, Crawford and Caroline and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. West's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in Weaverville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.

Due to Jo's love of flowers they will be graciously accepted or for those that desire memorials may be made to Weaverville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 57, Weaverville, NC 28787.
