Mr. William Carey died March the 5th, with typhoid pneumonia. He leaves a widow and two small children, a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Carey and four sisters. Mrs. Tom Peavler, Mrs. James Hamilton, Mrs. John Taylor and Mrs. Demetrious Collier to mourn his loss. A precious one from us have gone. A voice we loved is still, a place is vacant in our home which never can be filled. Sleep on dear father in peaceful rest with thy tired head pillowed on Jesus' breast. The angels have carried his soul away to await the coming of the judgment day.
