Ellen Jean Hollinsworth, 78, 925 Powell Ave., Millcreek Township, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at her son's home after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 10, 1923, in Kittanning, daughter of the late Rev. T.A. Robertson and the late Stella McCoy Robertson.
She was a homemaker and a home health care provider. She attended Grace Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary T. Hollinsworth, in 1957.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Vincent Hollinsworth, a resident of the Pennsylvania Soldiers' & Sailors' Home; a daughter, Laura Hollinsworth of Erie; three sons, Dennis and Richard Hollinsworth of Erie and Scott Hollinsworth of Buffalo, N.Y.; a sister, Esther Messner of Barberton, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Lowell Robertson of Titusville and Burton Robertson of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 602 W. 10th St., Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at Grace Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until a service begins there at noon, officiated by the Rev. Al Detter.
Burial will be at Erie County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3902 W. 38th St., Erie, PA 16506
