Margaret Elizabeth Thomas, 80, of Crescent Hill, died Wednesday [March 17, 1999] at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Margaret Brandt; a retired employee for the old National Distillers, where she worked for 35 years; and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors: a daughter, JoAnn T. Tillett; a sister, Catherine Dalrymple; a brother, Joseph Brandt; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, her church, 1406 E. Washington St. Burial: Cave Hill. Visitation: Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave., 2-8 p.m. Friday.
