BROOKS - On March 24, 1923, WILLIAM EDWARD, aged 77 years, at the Church Home Infirmary, beloved husband of Isnola R. Brooks.
Services will be held at his late residence, 1406 North Broadway, this (Monday) afternoon at 4 p.m. Interment at Newpoint(sic), Va. on Tuesday.

Mr. William E. Brooks, formerly of Mathews, late of Baltimore, died at a hospital in the latter city after a long illness, on last Saturday.
The remains were brought to Mathews Tuesday and after funeral services conducted at Beulah Church by Rev. R. G. Rood, were interred in the family cemetery at New Point. The Port Haywood Lodge of Red Men of which the deceased was a member, had charge of the burial. A large crowd attended the services.
Mr. Hudgins was 77 years of age and a native of Mathews, where he spent his early life, moving to Baltimore many years ago. He was a man of high character and a devout churchman, being for a long time an official of Beulah. He had many friends in Mathews by whom he was held in high respect and esteem. Three children, Mrs. L. M. Hudgins and Messrs. J. E. and Rodney Brooks, two brothers, Messrs. Thomas and Gus Brooks and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Hudgins and Mrs. W. E. Hutson, besides a large number of grandchildren and a host of friends survive him.
