Mrs. Mildred Lathem West, age 83, of Canton, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Nathan Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. West was a homemaker and member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and a Deacon's wife.

Survivors include her husband, Howard West of Canton; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda (Joe, Jr.) Satterfield of Ellijay and Margaret (Bill) Morris of Woodstock; son and daughter-in-law, Bill (Becky) West of Madison, AL; grandchildren, Joe Satterfield, IV of Acworth, David (Tracey) Satterfield of Ringgold, Amanda (Scott) Lear of Woodstock, Mackenzie Morris of Atlanta and Gray West of Madison, AL; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Erica, Paul David, Daniel Satterfield all of Ringgold and Zachary Lear of Woodstock; sister, Wilma Burgess of Canton; brother, Olin T. Lathem of Newnan; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
