DEATON, Carole M. age 84 of Old North Dayton, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. Carole was born on September 14, 1925 in Leavenworth, IN the daughter of the late Marie & Earl Carver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel; and brother, Don Carver. Carole was retired from Premier Rubber after many years of service and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed playing very much. Carole is survived by her son, Michael Deaton & wife Cathy; her daughter Jan Mansfield & husband Steve; 5 grandchildren: Danny & wife Laura, Tiffany & husband Michael, Stephanie & husband Greg, Melisa, Jill & husband Brad; 8 great grandchildren: Emma, Lexi, Nick, Mackenzie, Brayden, Danny III, Alexis, Taylor; brother Elmo Carver; sister, Bonnie Martin; and other relatives & dear friends. Visitation will be held Monday, June 28, 2010, from 11AM to 1PM at the MAGETTI GAVIN FUNERAL HOME, 1508 Valley Street, where Funeral Services will be held at 1PM with Pastor Pete Fee Officiating. Burial to follow in Willowview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to Brookhaven Nursing Home. The Deaton Family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Brookhaven Nursing Home for their wonderful care of Carole.
