Mr. Loy H. (Pop) Garrison, 83, of Alpharetta, son of Elder Odie B. and Dora Phillips Garrison, passed away February 13, 2008.
A World War II veteran, he was a member and Deacon of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy L (Nix) Garrison; children,
Mr. And Mrs. Jerry (Pat) Cabe,
Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Elaine) Garrison all of Cumming,
Mr. And Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Mullinax of Ball Ground,
Mr. And Mrs. Randall (Debbie) Garrison of Alpharetta,
Ms. Cindy Garrison Couch of Woodstock;
sister, Mrs. Bertha Cook of Adairsville,
15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Elder Bobby Cagle, Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Vernie Worley officiating.
Interment Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
