For Harry Chesshir
Harry Chesshir, 67, of Tyler
died early Thursday at his residence
after a sudden illness.
Funeral services were, held
Friday at 10 am. in the Burks
Walker-Tippit Funeral Home
Chapel with Mr. Mike Warren
officiating.
Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery
in Tyler. Mr. Chesshir was a native
of Blossom, had lived in Tyler five
years and was a retired plate glass
worker and a member of the Northwest
Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. May Chesshir of Troup;
a son Vernon Chesshir of Troup;
two daughters, Mrs. Donna Duke
of Troup; and Mrs. Helen Mentzel
of Sherman; a brother Frank Chesshir
of Houston; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tommy Parrish,
Wesley Hickey, Ray Legate,
B. F. Townsend, Joe Clark,
and Paul Stanley.
