Harley G. Rittenhouse. 57, a na­tive of Huntington county and for the last 23 years a resident of Jackson, Mich., where he was an electrical motorman, died Wednes­day morning at his home at Jackson, Mich., after being in failing health four years and seriously ill nine months.

Mr, Rittenhouse was born in Lan­caster township, October 4, 1884 to Joseph and Belle Rittenhouse. His marriage was to Lena Schoeff.

Surviving are the widow and two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Robin­son and Mrs. Iva Combaugh both of Jackson, Mich. There are two grandsons, Norman and Eugene Combaugh of Jackson. Raymond Rittenhouse of Clear Creek township is a brother and sisters are Mrs. Ethel Myers, Sturgis, Mich., and Mrs. Gertrude Winebrenner of this city. The mother, Mrs. Belle
Ritenhouse Ryan, lives in Huntington.

Mr. Rittenhouse was a member of the Methodist church and the I.O.O.F. at Jackson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at Jackson after which the body will be brought to Huntington and taken to the Bailey funeral home where friends may call after 9 a.m, Fri­day.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bailey chapel. Burial will be at Lancaster.
