On April 2, 1940, Wilson married Corine Roach, who was born November 12, 1992 in Durant, daughter of Levi H. Roach (1846-1934) and Arrena May (1892-1964).
On October 20, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Wilson enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II. His enlistment showed that he was married and that he had one year of high school.
Corine died February 8, 1996 in Durant and was buried in the Highland Cemetery. Wilson died March 19, 1979 in Grayson County, Texas, and was buried beside his wife.
